Services / Electrical Testing
Numbers, not opinions.
Acceptance and maintenance testing that shows your electrical system is safe and performing, with records you can keep.
When you need it
Signs it's time to call
New installations
Acceptance tests prove the system was built and connected correctly before it goes live.
Preventive maintenance
Regular testing catches loose connections and degrading insulation before they cause outages.
After a fault or incident
Test the system to learn what was damaged and what is safe to re-energize.
Insurance, lender or AHJ requirements
Many stakeholders ask for documented test results.

How it works
From first call to finished work
- Define scopeAgree what gets tested, to what criteria and when.
- Plan outagesSome tests need equipment de-energized, so we plan that with you.
- TestPerform and record each test with calibrated instruments.
- ReportIssue results with clear pass/fail and any deficiencies.
- Follow upFix what failed, re-test and close out.
Test criteria
Where your specifications call for NETA or manufacturer criteria, we test to them. If you have no specification, we will recommend an appropriate scope for your equipment.
FAQ
Electrical Testing questions
What is the difference between acceptance and maintenance testing?
Acceptance testing is done on new or modified equipment before it goes into service. Maintenance testing is repeated over the life of the equipment to track condition.
How often should we do infrared scanning?
Often once a year for critical or heavily loaded equipment, or as your insurer or maintenance program requires.
Do tests require a shutdown?
Some do, and some, like infrared scanning, are done while energized. We plan outages with you.
Can you test work done by another contractor?
Yes. Independent testing is part of our third-party QA/QC service.
